After waiting hours in comparison with the convening of the meeting, the presence of Dr. Gianni Letta, Undersecretary to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers Gelmini and Brunetta, began the meeting with the unions and confederal compartment school, on implementing regulations of Law 133/08 of .64.
Minister Gelmini, in opening the meeting, said the government's willingness to proceed after the strike and protests of recent days, for a period of confrontation to seek solutions on implementing regulations, with two goals, the retraining of spending but not the impoverishment of the education system, incorporating the needs expressed by schools.
To that end, next week will be emanating Regulations on the first and sizing on the basis of commitments made in the minutes signed at the end of meeting the undersecretary Letta, who below, while as far as regulations on secondary school, will be adopted during this year, but their implementation will start from 2010/2011.
As we have argued FLC CGIL:
The importance of the much sought confrontation on the issue implementing regulations.
The concern about the absence of a clear idea of what the government intends to achieve with these measures, so that uncertainty and tension produced and produces in school. The postponement of the deadline for entries has not helped in this regard.
The need for the sharing of research with all stakeholders on social and institutional measures.
The appreciation for the postponement of the implementation of measures on secondary education, on which we have requested the opening of the comparison (so far entirely absent), before the regulations.
The appreciation of the freeze for 2009/2010 as increase the maximum number of pupils per class, in connection with the redevelopment plans for school construction.
The appreciation for the maintenance of a mandatory 40 hours for kindergarten and for the efforts extended time for the secondary school of First Instance.
- Interest in the table standing on precarious el'ipotesi to extend tax cuts on salary enhancement, which should fall into a broader movement for all staff.
Speech and different assessment, however, have expressed regarding the primary school, for which we have reiterated the request to maintain the current model and organizational time.
We have stated, we think the positive model of primary school so far, even comforted by authoritative international surveys, so we do not agree with what is proposed in the report and express great concern for the destiny of this segment of school quality, thus Will be definitely affected.
Neither reassures us, the planned "reshaping economies" to be achieved for as 2009/2010, which is likely to clear the whole of the commitments made in the report by the Government.
At the end of believe that the measures undertaken by schools has produced results not discounted and especially our defense, steady and responsible, has certainly forced the government to revise many of its initial positions.
There remains the need to continue initiatives to mobilize, from the strike tomorrow, because of economic constraints were not removed and the primary school is likely to pay a high price, which does not mean in any way accept.

Legitimate or not, nuclear technology is the daughter of nuclear weapons: even today, despite the decades passed, this bond is felt and gives a civilian nuclear valence ambiguous, rather than strictly on technology, especially in political terms.
Consider the recent crisis in Iraq, Iran and North Korea, where nuclear power has played a leading role, going far beyond mere technical issues. Parentele recognized between the two technologies, however, highlight the deep differences:
if the civil nuclear research security was imperative, as it can not be said for military technology. It, by its very nature, is organized around other parameters that relegate into the background aspects of safety and environmental impact. The victims of a potential accident, rather than be a disaster to be avoided, are at best a side effect.
Subject of this book is to give voice, data and providing analysis, the silent victims of nuclear weapons. If dell'orrore of Hiroshima and Nagasaki will have testimonies and studies, the same does not happen with all the victims successive civilian and military, on which there is a public removal impressive. Dead, injured, attacked by cancer and genetic diseases, innocent victims and fallen out of their jobs. Give voice to victims is the first step to open a serious debate on nuclear weapons and consequently on the calendar. A level of perceived risk, the civil nuclear would face much less difficulty, both in political and public opinion, if you could get rid dell'imbarazzante cousin with nuclear weapons.
The abolition of military uses of nuclear energy and radioactive materials, ultimately, must be the precondition if we want to hope for a future less problematic for nuclear energy.

The Communist Organization of Greece (koe) salutes the thousands of young people who continue - for the third consecutive day - the resolute and combat demonstrations against the government and crimes of the police.
At this moment (Monday Dec. 8) thousands of school students are demonstrating in front of the District General of Police in Athens but also in many neighborhoods and cities throughout Greece.
This afternoon the Coalition of the Radical Left (SRYZA) and other organizations of the left have called for a popular mobilization in the center of Athens. Even the Communist Party of Greece (KKE), which until now has not taken part in the demonstrations and protests, under pressure from the young and popular masses has called for a demonstration in Athens (for now separate from the event).
The demonstrations across Greece express spontaneity and at the same time a political and popular applications: the condemnation of the government of Karamanlis. The protests and anger of the masses are fully justified. Police who kill are not punished. The apologies of the government instead seek to bring attention to the destruction of public and private property but can not cover its liability. The government is guilty because the police killer weapon and not punishing them for their crimes. The government is guilty because he has transformed the city of Athens in a gas chamber in an attempt to stop the demonstrations attacking people with chemical weapons and torturing the arrested demonstrators.
The government brings the full weight of a full political responsibility .. It has failed in every area: in the economy, education, work and democratic rights. Before this criminal government is going to fall better for the people and society. The announced resignation of Interior Minister and Vice Minister of Public Order, can not just calm the anger of society. If these resignations will not be accepted, this will be the test of full responsibility of the Prime Minister and the government.
The revolt does not stop. It 's just begun. We wake up call to all young people and people all the streets in demonstrations today throughout Greece! It should be declared a strike in all schools and universities are occupied! It should be transformed the workers' general strike next Thursday in a real trial against the criminal government, a popular condemning a government corrupt and murderess. Who has responsibility to pay to prevent it from continuing with its crimes.
All the streets! All the streets!
Let us do stop this government that has sold Greece, which attacks the popular masses and kill the young. The fight will be victorious popular.
