90th Anniversary of the First World Grand carnage
Never again war!
The First World War to cost 650 thousand dead and a million maimed and wounded. A die were the children of peasants torn fields and their suffering and mandates to deal with the threat of execution squad behind.
While we remember the victims of every nationality of that "useless massacre", denouncing the attempt by Defense Minister Ignazio La Russa to recover the rhetoric about World War I, glorifying with a campaign in grand style, replete with TV spots, military parades and general rising in teaching in schools.
While:
• cut funds to schools and research
• wages, salaries and pensions continue to lose purchasing power,
• The industrial crisis, particularly in Turin, starts to become a serious problem for many factories in crisis, using the massive layoffs of el'espulsione precarious,
We spend millions of euros for these celebrations (3 million just for the concert Bocelli in Rome). In addition, the Italian military spending (ie the ordinary operation of the four armed forces, missions abroad and public funding to the military-industrial sector), in this period of crisis, amounted to record 23 billion and 352 million euros , Equal to 11% more than last year.
This is yet another signal of the ideological climate of restoration that is trying to impose in the country with the proposed authoritarian rule of one, not secular, and values like home and family, emptied of their original meaning and be instrumental to the logic of the market.
They want to celebrate the war at that time to better justify those today!
4 November - but not mourning feast!
