Immigration, antifascism

Dear friends,
is terrible what should happen to people at the beginning of the third millennium! On the European continent, the founding country of the European Community.

When the Hungarian Roma MEP Viktória Mohácsi has argued the lack of data concerning the Roma community in Italy, has not thought about these aspects and filing. But the possibility of access to EU funds for the integration of Roma.

This need for a census is exploited by Italian institutions open to a discrimination of persons, which is intolerable. Un'etnia belong to different is not it ever could be the prerogative ne ne deviant behavior that virtuous.
We are really in front of the paradox that this situation can food:
1) the gap between Roma and Sinti and Roma Italian citizenship or other persons;
2) the gap between the Italians of different ethnic groups;
3) the legitimacy of racism.

We express our full solidarity with the families who are subjected to this barbaric and give full support to a request for 'Observer external type OSCE or another association / organization that has confidence in the population in order to collect the data together with Italian institutions.

We are inextricably linked to the Roma population, have often suffered together in history. The concentration camp of Jasenovac, where some have died hundreds of thousands of people, is just one of the examples that binds us forever. Even in the war against Yugoslavia, led by NATO, friends Roma and Sinti in Italy were on our side to protest against the war. Many of them had fled from our village in Italy just escaping from this war.
Today, in this very sad time for all of us to see history repeat, we are in solidarity with our brothers Roma and Sinti. Today we must and we want to be at their side.
