NO WAR, Journal, antifascism

propaganda01.jpg The day of remembrance is celebrated on February 10, which is the date of the Peace Treaty of Paris in 1947 between the Allies winners of the Second World War and Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Finland and Italy.

The latter gave Istria (and the city of Rijeka / Rijeka and Zadar / Zara) to Yugoslavia, as Rhodes el'arcipelago rest of the Dodecanese to Greece.

That date is also very close to the day of remembrance, of late January, recalls that, as you know, the horrors of Nazi-fascism.
In this way the Italians are raised, so subliminal, to think that our people have lived too small a kind of holocaust, or at least a kind of ethnic cleansing.

If then also aware of some 'history, at least think that the peace treaty on the eastern borders has been unfair.

Now there is no doubt that the crimes committed by Nazi our country has contributed so maneuvering to make it go from victim to executioner is really acrobatic.

With regard to coincide with the date of the Treaty of Paris (later incorporated in the Treaty of Osimo November 10 1975), remember certain dates.

In 1918 came the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, said a few years later Kingdom of Yugoslavia.

Yugoslavia was born, a po 'like Italy and other national bodies by intellectuals, political and military. Istria was populated by Croats, Slovenes, Italians, and other less numerous populations, such as Istro-Romanian. The Italians, who were not a majority, lived for most of the coastal city, the interior of Istria was populated almost exclusively by Slavs (Croats and Slovenes, but not only). The population of Istria was also mixed, given the mixed marriages.

entry-troops-Italian-a-lubiana.jpg Istria, after the defeat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, was given to (the second pacts with France and England in 1915, concluded before the war, when victory would have to the territories of Trentino Alto Adige and the eastern border would come to the alpine watershed; Lenin revealed the existence of these secret pacts, when the war was not yet finished, causing much buzz).

The terms of the Slavic population considerably worse than the already heavy conditions suffered by farmers Slavs, meat from the slaughterhouse to the Austro-Hungarian army during any war.

The Italians behave worse than Austrians, as it took little time for the use of language Serbo-Croatian and Slovenian, discarding the cultural centers, sought to "Italianized" Istria, and this happened even before the advent of fascism, and to waive all rights to minorities who lived in the slave Venezia Giulia.

As the nascent fascism took shape, fascist bands from Trieste destroyed cultural centers in Venezia Giulia Slovenes and sow terror squadrista in Istria. Fascism was racist, as Nazism, and considered racial Slavic lower. When fascism took power, things, obviously, deteriorate further and, as noted, became illegal even to speak in languages other than English.

In 1941, German aviation bomb Belgrade wildly: a distance of a few days, Yugoslavia was invaded by German troops, Italian, Bulgarian and Hungarian.

partigiani.jpg Italy occupied part of Slovenia (the province of Ljubljana, which was incorporated in the Kingdom of Italy), part of Croatia, which had now become NDH (Independent State of Croatia), headed by Ante Pavelić, the Croatian leader, head of the notorious fascist movement ustaša., Montenegro and Kosovo, who gave to Albania, which became Great Albania (also of the inside of Vittorio Emanuele III ....). The concentration camps were segregated in which civilians, including women, pregnant women, old people and children were scattered in Italy, Yugoslavia and Albania: the victims were tens of thousands.

The Italian occupation was comparable to the German. There were some reprisals on the civilian population, including massacres of women and children, burning of villages, even cattle, which were the continuation of the peasants. Ferocious were the torture inflicted on Communists and partisan resistance fighters, the heavy guns combatants and political prisoners. The Yugoslav people will show relatively mild overnight, 8 September, the fall of Italy, often soldiers hiding the heel, which could be captured by the Germans. Moreover the yield of Italian garrisons, were claimed by the Yugoslav spies, torturers fascists, particularly cruel masters, both the army and in black shirts, which were immediately shot, but the majority of the soldiers could choose to return home or enter Titina file partisans.

Field-of-concentration-fascista.jpg There were certainly incidents of cruelty of the population of Jacquerie, but that was sedate by the Yugoslav army fighter. Especially in Istria there were a number of people killed since the September 8 (dozens).

After the liberation of the Nazi Trieste on the part of Titina, there were processes and guns repubblichini of Salò, the Fascist. Moreover, many Italian officials were interned in Yugoslavia, some of them did return, some after trials were shot, others did not survive the hardships to. Worse was the treatment reserved to the Allies German prisoners or collaborators of Vichy, in the former Yugoslavia or the new Communist government to ustaša, and četnici (the Serbian movement, loyal to Yugoslav government in exile, fierce enemy of the Communist partisans and Allied of Italians). Moreover, Draži Mihajlović, their leader, was tried and shot immediately after the war, his Croatian counterpart, Ante Pavelić instead managed to escape with the help of the Vatican and the Allies.

arbe22.jpg Therefore, talk of ethnic cleansing by the Italians towards the Titine is absurd, since it was made final accounts with fascism, than to that of Salò local collaborators, Serbs, Croats and Slovenes who were:

When we talk about exodus of refugees, which lasted several years, and against which they beat the Yugoslav government, we should remember that it was often a political choice, or economic, which led them to leave the Socialist Yugoslavia, and that if anything was l 'Italy not to accept, given that Italy paid the damages of war on Yugoslavia with the property they left in Yugoslavia.

The day of remembrance is a grotesque invention, which seems out of a movie Totò or Deaf: is it a historical revisionism: on the one hand it is in the rehabilitation of fascism, since most of the victims the eastern border, processed, then shot and thrown in "foibe," were fascists who had committed crimes against the civilian population, on the other forming revanscismo why sopito against Italian and part of Dalmatia. It would be interesting to analyze why the fascist rhetoric could be taken at this point that the territories populated by Slavs have been claimed on behalf of un'italianità due to invasions Roman or Venetian. Moreover, the Dodecanese greek was incorporated in the Kingdom of Italy in the name of distant companies even late-medieval chivalry (The Knights of St. John, then Rhodes, then Malta ...).

99-T6-11-fascismo.jpeg In Italy the myth of "good Italian people" has prevailed on historical crimes (neither more nor less than those of other peoples) of colonialism and fascism, so it was to exchange the speck in the eye of another with in our beam.

It would be nice, instead remember that the Italians in September after eight remained in Yugoslavia, fighting alongside the Yugoslav partisans, or even creating their own brigade, the Garibaldi, of which a significant part in land Yugoslav died, or the counter-exodus , That is the work that many Italian Communists did in Yugoslavia, to help the development of a socialist country after the war.
